With over 20 years’ experience in accountancy, Max founded Real Time Accountants (“RTA”) in 2023. He specialises in working with business owners to ensure they get the most from the hard work they put into running their businesses. Max understands how important a business is to those that run it and, with the help of the exceptional team at RTA, provides a personal and professional service. 

Prior to setting up RTA, Max successfully ran his family accountancy firm for over 10 years and before that trained with PwC in Manchester and Auckland, New Zealand.  

In his spare time, Max is a keen kite surfer, runner and triathlete and enjoys spending time with his young family.  

Natalie Thomas MA FCCA

Natalie works with various limited companies, partnerships and sole traders assisting with accounts, tax, company valuations and tax investigations.  

Natalie qualified as an accountant in 2011 and previously worked in with Max in the family accountancy firm.  Prior to this, she worked in corporate finance in Manchester. 

In her spare time, Natalie enjoys spending time with her young family.

Sara Macdonald BSc ACCA

Sara has over seven years working in practice following the completion of her Accounting and Finance degree from Bangor University in 2016 and gained her ACCA qualification in 2021. Sara currently has a varied client portfolio and assists with all aspects of accounts, tax, payroll and bookkeeping.  

Outside of work Sara enjoys spending time with her friends, family and Bella the dog. She also enjoys traveling and is a keen cinema-goer.

Following the completion of his Accounting and Finance degree from Keele University, Oliver began working in practice in 2019. Oliver currently works with various limited companies, partnerships and sole traders assisting with all aspects of accounts, tax, payroll and bookkeeping.  

Outside of work Oliver is a keen sportsman, having represented his county in both Hockey and Cricket at the junior level and continues to play for his local teams.

Gareth returned to the local area in 2016 having graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University with an honorary degree in Business Management with Finance. His role involves working with various limited companies, partnerships and sole traders assisting with all aspects of accounts, tax, payroll, and bookkeeping. 

In his spare time, Gareth enjoys playing golf and spending time with his young family.

Jack began his accountancy career in 2020, having graduated from Bangor University with a degree in Accounting and Banking. Jack gained his ACCA qualification in 2024, and he also plans on studying to become a Chartered Tax Advisor. Jack currently works with various limited companies, partnerships and sole traders assisting with all aspects of accounts, tax, payroll and bookkeeping.  

Away from the office, Jack is into sports and is a big Liverpool FC fan.

Harriett has many years of experience working in the accounting industry. Harriett gained her professional AAT membership in 2012 and her role involves working with various limited companies, partnerships and sole traders assisting with all aspects of accounts, tax, and bookkeeping. 

Outside work, Harriett enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
